Chapter 4 The Balance Ultimatum Tip-Drive your vehicle like you want to live your life. Driving is a good reflection of how we are balancing our lives. Are we driving too fast and not following the speed limit? Are we driving too slow and not utilizing speed to its fullest? When you come to a stop sign, take a deep breath, look around for a few seconds, and remind yourself that STOP stands for See The Opportunities Present. Chapter 5 Balance Is More Than A Beer In Each Hand Tip-Drink plenty of water. A mere drop of 2% water in our bodies creates dehydration and daytime fatigue. Each person needs to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day. Buy a case of bottled water and keep it in the floor board of your vehicle. Chapter 6 Balance Is A Mind Game Tip-Pummel Procrastination. Did you know that my new book, Balance Matters is a breakthrough book? Take time to taste a mint to refresh your taste buds. Touch a stress ball to let out tension. See a beautiful portrait hanging on the wall to boost your vision. Smell a fragrant candle to settle your nerves. Hear great music that will lift your spirits. Chapter 13 Jump On The Trampoline Of Playfulness Tip-Start a fun tradition. My dad goes to the Texas State Fair every year with his High School buddies. In fact my wife and I have joined the fun tradition. We enjoy playing Flip a Chick. You take a rubber chicken, place it on a catapult, and hit it with a mallet. The chicken goes flying into a rotating skillet. My dad is the reigning Flip a Chick champion. He says he loves it because it doesn't require any athletic ability. What is your fun tradition?
